Sorry Warriors

I don't think I can put into words how disappointing it was to watch the Warriors fall all but out of the NBA Playoffs. I will let those at TheBasketballJones.com do it for you.

Its hard to believe after such a fun year they just kind of slipped... monta and for the most part baron have been steady all year, monta distinguishing himself as one of the best slashing 2 guards in the league. If they get rid of him, i am renouncing my warrior fanhood. With that said, baron will most likely bounce do to all the free agents along with other beloved warriors, barnes and buke, i recollect. Its a sad day, but if they follow this crushing end of the season with drafting robin lopez, which i doubt will happen, it is truly over.

It's interesting you said both of those things, because NBADraft.net has the Warriors drafting Robin Lopez, AND word on Bay Area radio is that they might try to do a Baron Davis for Elton Brand trade and keeping Monta.

i'm guessing like you said baron may be gone, but to the clippers? I 'm sure you have contemplated all of this, but i can only see a couple of bright spots

Baron can bring spot light to la

There's no way that's a straight up deal
As fate has it, Livingston may never be any good but he's got another shot to prove himself, but to place Baron into that mix?
What would the warriors have to give up to get Brand... Stephen too? maybe a couple of draft picks?

+- I guess they would improve in some aspects but the team would slip into the entertainment doldrums aside from monta every night. At least Barkley might show more love
